Jim, I don't see 'modern' HTML-swollen email packages giving me 
anything that the old ASCII ones don't, except bloat and little 
vcard files and other strange droppings in my down directory.

HTML also doubles the volume for the list servers to chug through.
And stuffs the bandwidth for those of us further from the 'centre'.

Keep HTML for the web where people like pretty pictures and coloured
text. 

Now if you'll excuse me, I've got to go and colour in my 
correspondence with my new bumper box of crayons.
