Subject: RE: Alternative mounting for canister light ?

Walter,

I don't know about this one. I've dived with one stage bottle no
canister and you're right, off balance isn't a problem (assume same as
canister, no stage). My question is more 2 or more stages on the left,
no canister on the right? I've tried two bottles on the left and no
canister (I don't have one) and I felt off balance. I actually unhooked
my friend's 5-lb. hammer and clipped it to my right side and still felt
a little off balance. Usually I would move the bubble in the wing a
little to the left to maintain stability. Unfortunately I'm now
slightly leaning to the right to maintain the bubble in the left. Hard
to explain, sorry. Guess you couldn't do that with an OMS wing huh...
:-)

Thanks,
Art.

	Art,

Yes, it works fine. Think about it. People dive with the light
cannister
on their hip all the time without stages.

	Walter

PS: you really should try a good light.
