gentlemen,
at the risk of flames (which i could give a shit about), we are seeing the end
of our sport as we know it. the gov. is right around the door
to impose some bullshit laws on us to better "help" us enjoy our sport.
oh,,,it wont take long. kinda like "jet skis" , for those of you that don't
know it, they are banned in many nat. parks and many waters in minn. and ohio.
new laws are coming up every day to help the jet skiers better "enjoy"
their toys. and jeez....its only been 6-7 years for em. so plan on the worst,
deaths????why are they happening???real simple.......

most new divers do not go through the learning curve us "old timers" have.
trying to learn how to clear your mask while making 3 gas switches is more
than most newbies can handle. there is certain "experience curve" of
things that go wrong, and this curve is what i feel keeps the experienced
diver around. The learning curve set forth by the agencies is to fast and
allows no time for the diver to accumulate dive time. it's diving from one
class to another. A person can go from padi open water to full blown mixed
gas in 2-3 years. jeez,,,where is the divin at??? so what do you have????
a fully "patched" diver with ZERO experience. this zero experience accounts
(i feel) for most of the accidents we are seeing today. this is a LIFE SPORT
not like golf, tennis, etc. if you lose in golf,,,,big "F" deal, you are out
$50, same with tennis. if you lose in our sport, you have lost the most
precious thing you own______your life. seems to me, waiting a little bit of
time and getting experience is a small price to pay for your life. and at the
rate things have been going a lot of people are paying. this post is flame
free, send all spam to spamnet.com
thank you all, and good safe divin
shpwrk
