This is the kind of misinformation and complete stupidity that I am sick

ridiculous - read the gas laws and find out what the

- sorry, wrong again - it is more dangerous in open water
to have a runaway high performance inflator, but since only
an idiot would have one, I guess you mean that DIVING with
anyone this stupid in a cave is the real problem - I agree.
The fact is that all inflators are "regulators" if you hold
both buttons, and serve as a backup should your lefthand post
get rolled of inadvertanly and you need your backup, which by
the way should be hung around your neck ( inflator off of the
long hose post.
The absolute last thing you want is a high performance backup
of any kind - this is a vestigal remnant of deep air diving
logic.
Do me a favor, and do not ever put out anything
this dangerously stupid and then sign it "safe
diving".
