Whilst at the local dive store today, I saw a brochure for a new(?) Dive-Rite BC called the TransPak (I believe). Perhaps even more than the "current" wings that Dive-Rite sells, this puppy looked very designed for modularity, ie. use this for any kind of diving you want, whether you require a redundant bladder with 85# of lift (each), or a smaller bladder with 30# of lift for tropical single-tank diving. Anyway, just curious for any info/experience with this beastie. I'll be in the market for something along these lines sometime soon. One concern I did have (which the brochure did not clear up for me) was about attaching doubles. The brochure showed a set of straps for doubles and I was not clear about whether it would accept doubles in bands (with bolts and wing-nuts). It would seem like it would have to but, like I said the brochure left me with doubts. Many thanks, Mike -- Mike Zimmerman [\] I'd rather be diving [\] zimmmt@au*.al*.co* Alcatel Network Sytems, Raleigh, NC Minds are like parachutes.... My opinions, not Alcatel's they only function when open.
