Just a thought. Does anyone know about the environmental impact of a dead alkaline battery as opposed to a dead lithium battery? Then take them back to the dive shop, and `lean on' them to send them back to the manufacturer for recycling!!! instead of dumping them and keep on mining more fresh metal ore. The world's mineral mines won't last for ever!!!
