It is only the anatomical deadspace that is rebreathed not physiological deadspace. Anatomical deadspace is 100-150mls and is only influenced slightly by tidal volume, increasing about 20mls per litre increase in TV. Counting my breathing rate, trying to mimic what I would use diving was about 8-10 so I might also revise the TV estimate to 1200-1500ml.
