The Apeks valve T50D is a superb piece of kit.
It si environmentally sealed and can be switched from l to r.
I have had one for 2 years and it comes from the same stable as
the manta 5000 a reg favoured by some cave divers in the U.K
I cannot praise it enough, and I also own two poseidon jetstreams/thors.
My advise to the US market take a good hard look at this
hyper performing reg ( rebadged in US as Zeagle ?Tek50D).
Diver mag (BSAC) had a test of 5people breathing hard through 5 second
stages out of one first stage at 50metre without any problem, as I remember.
One nice piece of kit as is the T40D and all its stable mates..
Whats even better is it is a cold and contaminated water valve...
