John, I have been diving nitrox with box-stock scubapro 1sts and 2nds for the past 4 years and have never had any sort of problem. Nitrox is the new "great green hope" of the dive marketing industry. It is a reason to sell you equipment you all ready have or to increase the already spectacular markup on the current gear by painting it green. It has reached hysteria levels in certain clueless diveshops with O2 henny-penny's running around crying "YOUR GONNA BLOW UP YOURE GONNA BLOW UP!". It has become a reason for these diveshops to bend you over and ream you out. If your DS says you need all this nitrox crap, turn around, leave and never go back.
