Hi Al,

You weren't the only ones to get out this great weekend! We went out on
the Deep Adventures III out of Pt. Pleasant NJ. We cruised out about 8
miles or so to the Tolten in 90-95 fsw. Water temp was recorded a
little warmer than you had at about 42 degrees. Viz. was not quite as
good at about 15-20. I got the chance to meet and dive with another
member of the list, Hi Kevin! Anyway, we had a great time in the sun.
I guess because you were so close to shore that you had HOT air the
whole time! We were out too far and the wind was quite cold. Was nice
while coming in when we broke the 2 mile mark and a wave a warm air came
across the boat....

Figure if everyone was talking about their dives I would chime in too!!

Safe diving,
Art.

	Hi Guy,

Since you asked the Dive Boat Karen went to the RC Mowhawk
located approx two
nm south of Ambrose Tower, NY on Sunday, March 29. Six divers
dove in the 38
degree water , experiencing 25 foot visibility and a slight
bottom current at
a depth of 105 fsw. This current could be responsible for the
vis, as it
carried away any diver disturbed silt, remains of a half
centuries worth of
sludge dumping. A two pound lobster and several bottles were
recovered,
including a 70-ish year old milk bottle.

Not the world's most extreme dive, but still fun. Thanks , El
Nino.

	Cheers,

	Al Marvelli aka KybrSose@ao*.co*
