The Northern suit looks ok, but the cost to the dealer is about the same (a
little more?) as a DUI TLS 350.  Northern just has a lower list price for
their suits.  I think if you check around, you'll find out they sell for about
the same.  As far as the "custom" thing goes, I'm pretty sure you have to fit
into one of their six or seven pre-cut "custom" sizes.  DUI also does this for
a bit more, but it's been my experience that their telescoping torso feature
makes it easier to get a much better fit off the rack than you can usually get
with a bag -style  suit.  Also, I think they clip you extra if you want
suspenders.
