As I stated privately, the long fins (Gara 2000's) are a big improvement:

I own Jetfins, the old Power Plana Graphite full foots, and now the Garas.

The Jetfins will remain in the caves, and the Planas will remain in the
closet.

The Garas are much more linear in thrust to effort, and I also find that they
are just plain more effecient at all speeds. They also have a noticable "
sweet spot " with a long slower kick.

Also , the Url's on Trainiing and diet were right on.
