Re: explaining the "bright green knobs.

1) Tell everybody that you're colorblind, and thought they  were bright
yellow...

2) Tell everybody that the color balance on your VCR was off when you watched

" Doin' It Right, Goddammit", and you thought that George Irvine was using
green ones.

3)  Put a red knob on the port /left post, and then tell every body that if
they're on the left side, they gotta yield right-of way, unless they are
under tow, a sailing vessel, 
or a seaplane with a diver down.

4) Tell 'em it's "....an Aussie, thing, myte, yew woldn' unnersand,
ryte.....?
That answer seems to work for the rest of your countrymen, and so far covers
a world of S--t. <g, etc>

And billy, the word is A-loom-me-num....A-LOOM-ME-NUM!

But I'm wasting my time...last year a loggerhead surfaced alongside the boat,
and the two Aussies on the boat were running around shouting "Look, a tuttle,
a sea tuttle..."
