Kevin, Next time you hit the return key think about what you have written. Your statement is complete and utter nonsense and if your intention is to insult and annoy the membership of the WKPP and inflame the emotions of all those who read this list, you have succeeded. These are the facts. There have never been any deaths of WKPP members during project dives at Wakulla Springs. There have never been any WKPP deaths anywhere, during project dives, within the tenure of the current Director, George Irvine. Irvine has been Director now for 5 years. During this period of time the membership of the WKPP has grown from 8 people to over 100 and the numbers of dives, exposures and ranges have increased dramatically. Many hundreds of mixed gas dives have been accomplished over these years with no fatalities or serious injuries. Things which have caused deaths before 1993 have been completely eliminated from WKPP dive policies and procedures. One of the reasons why we have had no deaths during the most recent 5 years is because we do not do things the way you propose and we do not use deep air. We do not allow personal preference, we do not dive deep air, we do not allow sloppy convoluted gear, we encourage the highest possible level of physical fitness and we promote the "Doing it Right" credo. This message is apparently a complete mystery to someone such as yourself. When you have educated yourself about what the WKPP is all about and how and why we do things then maybe you can comment intelligently. Until that time shut up.
