Hi Bob,
diving with the selfdoning Poseidon Unisuit
Exclusive since 1994 i experienced the following :
1. leaking problems on my left hand neoprene seal
( never had this problem on my previous Poseidon
drysuit ). After replacing the neoprene seals on
the hands with latex the problem was fixed.
2. the neoprene is 7,5mm thick. It means warm in
the shallow region with a huge buoyancy, poor
isolation deep with no buoyancy. You have to
wear a warm underwear for deep trimix dives
especially in the cold lakes here in the Alps even
with Argon inflation.
The compresivity of the thick neopren is the
main reason why i want to sell my Poseidon and
buy a DUI TLS-350.
3. comfort ? You have 7-8mm neoprene around your
body + the underwear (if you want to go deep ).
You dont have a automatic deflation valve ( Not
a real handicap ) just to know.
4. the manufacturing quality is very good and the
price for it here in Austria is around 1200 USD,
not really a cheap one.
Hope to provide you some useful info.

Charlie
