Bob, I know what you're thinking, but don't do it. If you buy a regular neoprene drysuit, zipper across the back or around the neck, you'll be mighty disapointed. I not only thought what you're thinking, I did it, and now I'm paying for it. I had a CF200X and sold it after a few years of good service, and bought a regular neoprene suit. My mistake, I'm selling my regular suit and I've already ordered my new CF200X/SP. With the CF200X operating equipment at any depht is no problem. A regular thick drysuit does not do that for you. Also if you buy the Poseidon with the zipper around the neck there is something you should be aware of. The zipper goes all the way down to your thigh, making it easy for you to break the zipper when you bend your body forward and flex your hip joints. It has happend to people I know, and when they called Poseidon to replace the zipper they had to pay for it themselves. Buying a regular suit will mean that your level of comfort will drop. You also have to think about loss of boyancy at dept, and all that. DUI CF200X is expensive, but it is worth it, you should know that. Hope you do it right.
