Steve, if you guys could get Rodney Dangerfield or Eddie Murphy,
you'd have a good show. The crowd could get warmed up with a good laugh
at Gavin Newman's gear and tales of brave Ulysses in his mind, or is it
flooded "mines" he dives, maybe an "April Fools" presentation by Gurr
complete with a list of his marks, and since Tom Mount has never
participated in any of the early , middle , or late phases of tech diving
in the US, his presentation should last about fifteen seconds. You Brits
might also enjoy the American Gallager, who has an act called the
"Sledgeomatic", which would be an appropriate way to finish up with the
gear these jokers are using, as well as a good way to remind yourselves
not to take any of these people seriously, since we have seen what
happens to those who do.
