Jammer,
For you to say something this stupid, I would almost think you have never
been on a dive boat----but it would be hard to believe you could have spent
all the time you have on the tech list and rec.scuba, without really
diving......How is it you can be so ignorant of how dive boats react to
diver deaths from specific behaviors ( deep dives) and how insurance
companies react to increasing death rates???? Are you sitting on your
brain??

Bring the boat to Palm Beach, specialize in the deep reefs, and we'll most
likely dive on your boat, even with your questionable grasp on
reality----that's how desparate the dive boat situation is here---we only
have one boat running deep trips right now, and that's not enough if they
have a recreational charter on a day we want to dive. We'd still need to
know you were competent as a boat captain----hopefully you won't sit on your
brains too much longer.

And attitudes like yours, about letting "anyone" who wants to dive deep
get certified and go on a deep dive, led to our problems.
Dan.
