Mailing List: techdiver

Since I actually read the List Overview message that is sent to all new
subscribers, I thought that I would introduce myself as suggested in
that overview.

I am a Navy Ship Salvage Diving Officer, currently in the Naval Reserve.
I have been in Navy diving since 1976 and have some sport diving
experience prior to that but very little since then.  My experience
includes SCUBA and surface supplied air diving and topside support of
surface supplied HeO2 diving.  I have operated Recompression Chambers
and have supervised their use in surface decompression and recompression
treatment.  I was an instructor at the Naval School of Diving and
Salvage in Washington DC prior to its move to Panama City, FL.

To date I have not worked with Nitrox, EANX, or tri-mix since these are
not currently in use in the fleet.

I look forward to learning of techniques and technologies outside my
experience.  If I can provide any information from a military diving
background, I would be pleased to do so.
