You cannot tell if a TIS kit has been installed in a ScubaPro MK20 from the outside. Having a ScubaPro technician open up the regulator and check it would be your best bet. The TIS kit consists of an insulating sleeve and cover on the piston and a new, plastic-coated spring. Hope this helps.
