No other light compares, and you can't get the Oceanics anymore. That also depends on the person buying them. Personally, my criteria are dependability and durability, and I don't mind paying for it. Backup lights are life support equipment, and they need to work every time. Don't worry about the money. You will never have enough money for all the gear you want, and there will always be something else you have to buy. It all starts with your mask and fins, then your garage is taken over by tanks and O2 bottles.
