I use the SP Jet Fins.  First of all they meet the first requirement -- 
"Real divers, wear only black" (Grin)
Most importantly, I have had the same difficulties finding fins that 
would use my leg power effectively.  
The all rubber design of the Jet Fins really shines through on both quick 
bursts, and duration of strong power.  
They may be short in comparison to Cressi's lines, and others, but they 
offer tremendous amounts of power.
The price ain't half bad either.  

My two yen.  Where about's are you in Nippon?  I spent about six years in 
the land of the Japanese.
