Subject: Observations and a suggestion....

I have two observations and question:
The observations:

A large number of the e-mails I receive from this list are:
1) personal (Earl, nice to hear from you...) or
2) Not fit for wide consumption (indecent comes to mind, pissing contest =
is perhaps more accurate although it fits my indecent category).

The question:

Is there not a way to conduct reasonable conversations, limiting =
personal mail to the person involved, sending mail of interest to all, =
in a form that is not offensive? My intent is not to be condescending. I =
am suggesting (and have seen in other forums) a higher standard, worthy =
of our consideration.=20
