Yes - with regards to freeze up I have a T50D severe and was exiting the
water in rough conditions. The air temp was 17f and the water was 31f. This
was ocean diving in Rockport Mass.   I was on the rocks with the second
stage out of my mouth,  crawling out when I accidently hit the purge. The
regulator started freeflowing at a high rate and I was unable to stop it. I
shut my air supply off and found that the first stage had become a solid
block of ice. I have never had it ice up in water..
