Yes - with regards to freeze up I have a T50D severe and was exiting the water in rough conditions. The air temp was 17f and the water was 31f. This was ocean diving in Rockport Mass. I was on the rocks with the second stage out of my mouth, crawling out when I accidently hit the purge. The regulator started freeflowing at a high rate and I was unable to stop it. I shut my air supply off and found that the first stage had become a solid block of ice. I have never had it ice up in water..
