Saterday Feb.14,1998 "Car Ferry Milwaukee" update.  Depth to deck 91 feet,
bottom 122 feet, vis 10 to 15 feet without light, water temp. bottom 37* F
top 33* F.  Bow mooring in good condition N 43* 08.28, W 87* 49.92, stern
also in good condition N 43* 08.31, W 87* 49.89. No signs of further winter
deterioration- we are having a very mild winter with no major storms -so far. 

Sunday Feb. 15,1998  "Willie" charter.  14 divers visited the Willie in
spring like sunny 52* F air temp.  The water was only 33* F but vis was 15
to 20 feet.  The south wind did get a bit strong and made for a wild ride
back in.  The 1:00 pm charters was canceled due to the 4 to 6 foot waves
that developed by noon.
