Dave-

If I breath off a bottle, I wanna know if there is air in it to breath at 
all times, so a gauge is mandatory on any such bottle in my book. Why? 
Because shit happens.

Just so everybody is clear, my stance on using ponys is:

*If you are doing dives where you think you need a pony, then what you 
actually need are doubles. 

*If you are doing dives where you think you don't need doubles then you 
don't need a pony.

Simple as that.
