Which is the same way that a pony is mounted on the tank. I agree that
the pony should be in front so as to be able to check pressure (if the
diver felt they needed to) but to say that back (side) mounting is wrong
becuse of intanglement, throwing the divers balance, not being able to
reach the valve, etc. is not really true.

Of course the strokes that mount the pony between doubles, that's
another story....
