Any sales professional( $ grubbing leach) needs a hook and these two have sustained diving for what 30- 40 years now? Aren't the real problems with techdiving and diving in general directly related to these two sales points?? But how do you screen individuals to determine their emotional maturity levels prior to teaching diving of any kind??? And how would one consel those deemed to be emotionally immature when they can run to another shop/instructor and get "trained" anyway?? I don't have any answers here, but I would think divers like Mr. Main and Mr. Jablonski could shed some light on this subject if they wanted to if only the real internet nazi's (the FAS crowd)would allow actual discussion without first obtaining personal jurisdiction and standing to sue. Anyway the best contermeasure I know of is to have a computer and a skeptic's soul. Cheers, Al Marvelli aka KybrSose@ao*.co* -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
