Subject: WINTER SHIPWRECK DIVING

Sunday January 18, 1998-  32 divers braved the 25*F air and 32*F ice water
to dive Lake Michigns best shipwreck - "The Willie".  With only really one
regulator freeze up problem the dives went very smooth. Dive times ranged
from 5 minutes (the one reg. problem) to 55 minutes.  About half the divers
used nitrox and around 1/4 the divers used argon in their suits.  Vis. was
on the low side, around 15 feet but the lake was calm and the sun even came
out in the afternoon.  

Anyone else doing any COLD diving this winter?
