Sunday January 18, 1998- 32 divers braved the 25*F air and 32*F ice water to dive Lake Michigns best shipwreck - "The Willie". With only really one regulator freeze up problem the dives went very smooth. Dive times ranged from 5 minutes (the one reg. problem) to 55 minutes. About half the divers used nitrox and around 1/4 the divers used argon in their suits. Vis. was on the low side, around 15 feet but the lake was calm and the sun even came out in the afternoon.
