"the liftbag deflated sometime duing this descent" there has been no mention by anyone to as the lift size of this bag, even using a small lift bag, you can still have a good amount of lift, no matter what depth that your at. Also they stated that they were in a 1/4 knot current, it wouldn't have been a big deal to pull the float ball. Yes it just might have dragged you around alittle, but it would still be manageable even for the weakest of a diver. Also, where would you think that your dive boat and support would have been during all of this? You would think as a responsible Dive Boat operator, you would stick very close to this group of divers, as most of the dive boats in the area fly a flag sized Alpha or divers down flag and also you would be aware of the total time in the water.. IMO, it sounds like this whole thing was fobar'd before they even left the dock. > >As this sad and tragic incident unfolds the truth becomes more and more >horrible than anything I could have imagined. Yes it is, and it is getting more sicking by the post!!! Even if 1/4 of what Diver's Supply post was true, looking at what they did say really makes a person think real hard!! > >Bill >-- Jeoff -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
