Yes, Dive Rite rig is the same as ours. We all have one of those , and
the newer version from Halcyon which uses a steel plate for the weight
and a smaller channel, smaller wings, but it is all the same concept. I
am not up on all the various equipment out there. Brownies is 1/4 mile
from my house, I dive with Carmichael almost exclusively when not cave
diving, so everything we make or do he is in the middle of one way or
another.

The other priciple of these discussions which should be highlighted here
is that your gear should allow you to go to any dive without
rearrangmemt of the key pieces - the more you keep everything the same,
the safer you are. Everything we do is done to accomodate the entire
picture.
