Have you priced the DUI tech BC? I think it lists at like $700. Don't
think I'll be getting one any time soon.

Subject: Dive Wings - DUI
I have not seen email on the evaluation of the Wings produced
on the
new DUI BCD - do they get an endorsement from the WKPP ??
What about Brownies Wings? 15lb 30lb 50lb
As a person wanting to do it right (but maybe not having the
"Right
amount of disposable cash"), it is necessary to do this
incrementally.
This also helps in building proficiency with the equipment under
different configurations and understanding the equipment in
those
varying conditions. I dive wet in Northern California - but due
to some
travel - I get to Florida, Mexico etc a few times a year - then
I dive
with skins or 3MM.
I have the Brownie backplate - I presently dive wet (the money
issue)
with mostly singles (8 to 1) in comparison to the use of
doubles. What
is the best wing configuration that will be least expensive to
configure
when I can go dry??
My present usage of singles is usually classes at 120fsw or
less - open
ocean. My use of doubles is no deeper than 200 fsw. Awaiting
the money
to get the dry suit and the appropriate training plus
experience. I
love wreck penetration. I would love more cave time, however,
there is
little to none that I know about in the Northern CA area. I am
hoping
to make Akumal for a vacation this summer and get some time in
the caves
there. I am cave certified and have maybe 20 additional
recreational
dives in Florida (a great and helpful community).
Note: I just got married - hope this doesn't hurt the chance to
get the
scooter.
Thanks in advance to the response - You may respond directly to
my Email
if you wish.
