Been reading this thread for a while now. I haven't read any real numbers yet on speed and burn time. I know the ones used by the WKPP are customized really fast ones with extended burn time. In some of the "tech" shops I see different size torpedo scooters. Short ones which look no more than 2-3 feet long and other ones which are like 5-6 feet long. Personally I use a Dacor scooter but it's mostly used for artifact digging. I'd look mighty funny trying to dig with one of those 5 footers!! Thanks way in advance!
