george,
he is right! he is "not interested in ignoring history " he is interested in
creating it.
look at his inflamitory remarks about the "history" that he quotes. based on
innunedos & fabrications.
this is deffinitly the mark of a true "historian".
george please don't get between him & his facts.
hey sharkey - how many research divers were diving on scuba (deeper than 130
fsw) in the 50's-60's-70's or 80's. & i am not refering to commercial divers.
just those research divers you have soooo much information & statistics
on?????

Gee George, how kind of you to remember me, but, as you are so find of saying,
get it right.

In point of fact all I did was point out to George that since 1952, when
record keeping began, there has not been a single research diving fatality in
the research diving community in the depth range of concern to deep air
diving. If that is full of shit, so be it. Those are the facts. I am not an
advocate of Deep Air, I believe in using the best practical technology for
solving any problem that comes along, but I do not believe in ignoring
history, I look to see what can be learned from it. It appears that George
would rather pretend that it did not happen.
