I believe the fitting is called "SAE O-Ring" If you have access to Aeroquip or Swagelock or any other industrial supplier you can get the 7/16 and larger sizes pretty easily. I have been unable to find any industrial supplier with the 3/8 size however. Have to buy that 7/16 to 3/8 adaptor from your local dive shop. Aeroquip is industrial/hydraulic/etc fittings, hoses, etc. Try your local industrial park or an area with a lot of trucking and truck repair shops. Swagelock and their competitors seem to handle industryl, labs, anybody else who works with tubing. >Which brings up an interesting question; does anybody know what the type of >connection used to connect a SCUBA reg hose to the 2nd stage is called? Is >it unique to the application, or does it have any any other more common >uses?
