Sue Because in the standardss until the recent changes it was required that you have experience to at least 48 meters. He had to follow standards. Today we have two alternatives either intermediate trimix or the deep air route. Either way divers need experience in accent management and all the planning and general altnernations in dive style befor going on to full trimix. The intermediate trimix course has no air.EANx dives deeper than 40 meters, it has 4 mix dives with two between 40 and 50 meters and two between 50 and 60 meters. After this course and a log of 12 additional dives (on mix) the student may take the full trimix course which has a lot more information in it and additional skills. It has three more mix dives two of which must be deeper than 60 meters and no deeper than 90 meters (in the UK this is rectricted by HSEe to 80 meters approximately) Tom Mount Davison, Sue wrote: > > >Kevin is one of the biggest pushers for iANTD not to have air > dives > deeper than 50 meters every since he first came on board.
