One last note. PADI does not condemn technical diving other than the deepair stupidity. They simply state that they train for recreational diving and if you wish to extend your limits beyond such then you should seek the proper training. Now there are many ignorent instructors out there that have no understanding of technical procedures and do not properly counsel their students on what to avoid or where to go and this is not PADI specific but rather industry wide. I do however feel that all instructors and DM's should have some technical training since I believe this is where real diving knowledge begins to take a solid foothold and developes to expert levels.
