I have a Cochran Nemesis IIa too. I love it. I do a lot of nitrox decompression diving with a different gas for deco. I set to the two gasses I am using and it gives me information about my calculated deco status which I compare to my pre-dive slate profiles. Since it is air integrated, if I don't stop breathing off my twins (failed stage bottle reg, lost bottle etc.) then it knows that and calculates my deco on my bottom mix. If I do stop breathing off my twins, it calculates deco based on my deco gas. Also, if a dive is called early for some reason and it becomes important to get out of the water fast, I have a reasonably safe estimate of the minimum deco. It also does nice things like calculating my continuous SAC rate, automatically compensating for atmoshpheres of pressure. It then gives me minutes of gas left based on my current SAC rate. Its doesn't do deco calculations for a trimix dives. The biggest complaint I have heard is that they have had a high rate of returns. But I got a good one and I think its great. I have recently bought one before subscribing to Aquanaut, and very interested in learning about any potential problems. I also have Aladin Pro Nitrox, and thinking about getting the Commander for my wife. -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
