OK Guys - I'm looking for some good advice here. I'm changing all my regs to Scubapro this winter to finally be 100% Hogarthian. After spending months looking at the Apex TX50 (Zeagle Tech 50 in US I think) and G250/Mk 20, I've decided to opt for Scubapro. However, my question is should I really go for G250 or G500? I examined both. I've discussed them in detail with the diveshop. However, I gather that the G500 is farily recent and my golden rule is not to buy anything that's been on the market for less than 2-3 years (until it's tried and tested, and hopefuly bug free). I think Jim Cobb posted an article a while back saying that he'd witnessed them breaking from a tank falling on one (am I right here Jim?). As I'm planning on buying up to 6 (serious money here), I really want to be sure I'm making the better choice.
