How do you end up having Oxygen deprived Tissues? Can you elaborate?

they developed serious symptoms of DCI which
resolved after a few minutes. In other words,
even if you were able to incur oxygen bends
it would resolve as soon as oxygen deprived
tissues absorbed it!
