Kevin, I don't use Dr. X personally, but have dove with several divers (Zee, Grimes, etc.) in Lake Superior who use Dr. X extensively. They swear by it and given the type (e.g.,deep, cold trimix) and number of dives they do a year... I can't argue with them. I use Abyss (with conservative settings) and have compared its profiles to Dr. X and found them somewhat similar, except that Dr. X starts with some deeper stops. I usually add some deeper stops.
