What happens to all this extra O2 that we don't metabolize during a dive ? Does it not act just like any other inert gas disolving into the tissues and needing to be offgassed just like N2 ahd He ? Though we are breathing considerably less of it are we reaching the point on dives to 250'+ where it becomes a factor with tissues that might be considered "fast" to oxygen, expecially since it does not disolve readily in blood plasma ? How would breathing high PPO2 during deco effect the situation in cases where O2 offgasing may be a factor worth considering ?
