Hi Ingemar I use the garbage bag method, a plastic bag is lashed round=20 the outlet of the argon bottle and a hose from the bag to the compressor inlet=2E Open the argon just to fill the bag and start the compressor=2E Then add argon manually to keep the bag suitable inflated=2E=20 BTW, has anybody experience with argon/CO2 mix for drysuit inflation? Some people I met used 23% CO2 with good results (good insulation and no itching )=2E This mix is available as=20 welding gas=2E Morten Frogner Ingemar Lundgren wrote: >Hi, can you please explain how you do this more specifically=2E=20 >I have herd of some other people do this but i have never=20 >understood exactly how to do it=2E >Regards Ingemar Lundgren >morten=2Efrogner@no*=2Eabb=2Eno wrote: >> >Then we thought of using the compressor to put the argon into >> >a couple of HP steel tanks, and then transfill on the boat=2E >> >> >If anyone has a good solution or experience with pumping >> >argon through a compressor, please let me know=2E >> >> I have used a normal compressor (4-stage Bauer) for argon >> boosting several times with no problems=2E I use a plastic bag >> on the inlet side=2E This also works fine with helium=2E >> >> Morten -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
