george -- thanks for the comments re: the gear Mr. Werner has for sale.

You said:

To paraphrase, then, Mr. Werner needs to revise the price for the tanks due
to current market value? These come with manifold and bands.

Would you please reiterate what the *dangers/problems* are with Sherwood
manifolds, and exactly why they should all be junked?

>The drysuit is even worse.

The suit is foam, so diving deep may result in bouyancy hassles, but it
would seem that a person of slight build (who could wear that particular
suit), who is *not* doing deep dives (some shallow wreck stuff up north for
ex.), and wants to stay warmer than diving wet, could get some dry suit
experience and warmth for a couple hundred dollars. That is, if they
understand the need to compensate for the suit crushing a bit. From what I
understand, many divers are able to do this with some forethought,
practice, and not much difficulty.

Although I don't know the date of manuf. for the tanks Roger's selling,
what's the scoop, please, with 80's made in '81 -- were they a bad batch?
How are you doing, selling the stuff that you decided doesn't work for you?

Once again, thanks for your information and incites.
