Bring your woolies. A dry suit and argon are the way to go for technical
diving.

There's lots of good diving up here. If you're going to be around
Vancouver, we do full technical diving off our boat. We fill trimix,
nitrox, argon and air. Trimix we fill only with the tanks dropped off the
day before the dive. We also have low or high pressure steel twins and
stage bottles for rent. (I have to do something with my old tanks.) We
will dive either Howe Sound or Nanaimo depending on where the boat is that
week. (604) 602-6713

For liveaboards, contact Exta Sea Charters Marine Group. They run several
boats and dive the Campbell River and Port Hardy areas. These are the very
best diving in the area if you have the time. Unlike some warm water
diving, there is no place where you can put a finger on the bottom without
killing something. The blankets of color are amazing. They also do
technical diving, but you have to pick the week. The six gill shark
encounter is on my list. Most of their business is recreational. (as is
ours) (888) 398-2733 info@ex*.co*.

Other operators that I've heard good things about are Abyss and Seymour
Inlet. Sorry, I don't have contact information. You might try Tourism BC.

I don't have much information about Puget Sound, but you might start by
calling Ron Akeson at Adventures Down Under. I've done a trimix dive with
him, so I'm sure he either does them or knows who does. (800) 695-5848
