We are saying the same thing, Ted - Bott has the good solution. I bring it up to point out that there are good solutions to these situations. I know you don't dive any air and I know you don't recommend it, but on the deco side I think we need to realize that air deco is inaccurate, and minor variations in gas deco are well worth the increased safety and pleasure of the dive. We are taught to fear deco from our PADI days ( squares from a black box, mandatory safety stops, etc) where deco is the penalty for bad diving behavior. Deco is your freind ) Parker used to tell me). I used to read books at deco, since I still viewed it as a penalty box. Now I don't do anything at deco.
