All, It's not bad enough that we have to wade through all the trash talk. Now we find out that Cobb is a keyboard diver dispensing advice about Tri-Mix, before he did his first mixed gas dive. When he got called on it he had no real defense so he opens the sewer and dumped it on the list. GET A CLUE!!!! Cobb does NOT know what he is saying he is just repeating someone else!!! If that isn�t bad enough, NOW we get George defending him. That is pitiful!!! George�s message on deep air can stand on it�s own merit. The deep air is dumb message is so obvious that it should NOT need this much time or bandwidth. But why defend some know nothing, dive nothing, parrot??? Again he does a GREAT disservice to himself by associating with Cobb. George, You have achieved some tremendous mile stone in diving. But when you die you will be remembered as much or more for WHO YOU ARE as what you did. If you don�t care, you will be remembered for that as well. And if you don�t mind being remembered as an apologist for a few puppets who could only parrot you, that�s okay too. But you may wish to think about it now. Because you are not 25 any more. The past few months have done a lot to help your image. So why turn back now? That doesn�t mean you shouldn�t call a pot smoker a pot smoker. But rather consider if that information is helping to get the message across or turning people away. You believe in the team concept. However the team can be no better than the worst member. And you just jumped in bed with a no one who hasn�t done any thing of note other than spew trash, and fraudulently misrepresent himself. Is that the type of spokesman you want? If so that�s fine too. But do you think it will help or hinder your cause? Think about it George, An honest message from a reliable source or a message that will always be suspect because the messenger is a fraud? As for the FRAUD Cobb, I personally have no use for a "diver" who does most of his bottom time on a keyboard.. Yes this is personal between me and Cobb. And yes you have a right to be mad at him for wasting you time with this on a public list. This too has no place in this bandwidth. Other than to say that I did not post my complaint to the list, Cobb did. It is up to you to decide if it was to inform you of some new technical development in diving or to take the heat off him for being a fraud. I have to admit that I find a certain irony in the fact the I was complaining to the cause of the complaint. I also thank those who tried to offer assistance in finding the host IP. But you all fell a steep or two short of the mark. I do know a little tiny bit about computers and the Internet though. What I find interesting is that his hosts seem to be well meaning non-profit allograft Tissue Banking System. Questions or comments about donation should be directed to: Public Education Coordinator, Becky Lawson, at becky_lawson@tr*.or* (I think it is a good cause). As far as the use of the host is concerned I wonder what Bill Anderson, President & CEO or John St. John, VP for Corporate Services will have to say about this usage and Mr. Cobb�s jeopardizing of there client status with UU.NET. However, I do intend to find out. I know what UU.NET had to say and lets just say that Mr. Cobb may not be laughing as hard now as he was yesterday. Perhaps Mr. Cobb will keep us up to date on UU.NET�s and LifeNet�s actions. I hope Mr. Cobb does not work for any of these people or companies as he could be in big trouble if he does. If you have any thoughts on Mr. Cobb�s employment status you might wish to forward them to Mr. Cobb at <jcobb@tr*.or*> or Mr. John St. John at <john_stjohn@tr*.or*>. I�m sure they would like to hear your comments. All I can say is look at the relationships and accomplishments for sure, But also consider the quality of the message. You don�t need to shoot the messenger nor do you need to accept the message from a fraud. Consider the source then make a sound reasonable choice based on the facts and merits of the information presented. I'm sure that if you do you will come to two key choices: 1) Deep Air is DUMB!!! 2) Hogarthian is the best way to rig!!!
