     There are at least two people running standard compressors with 
     synthetic oils to pump pre-mix nitrox to at least 50% here in the 
     UK.The technique is to bleed O2 into the air intake, further 
     downstream an O2 analyser measures the %O2. This is then compressed. 
     It's efficient in terms of O2 usage w/o need of a booster pump.
     They are both significant suppliers of nitrox in terms of volume.
     Such oils are readily available in the US.
     You probably won't see references to this in the tech agencies mixer 
     and blender courses.
