For the time and expense of mixing trimix, it might as well be worth it, so you want to use more than just a breath of helium and do up some trimix that will make an actual difference on the dive. I'm not going to argue actual numbers here, but I believe it is reasonable for the END to which you mix your trimix to be shallower than the deepest you'll go on air.
