There were UK newspaper reports some time ago of USA forces training dolphins to attack frogmen, using high-powered carbon dioxide injecting spikes fastened to their snouts. This was during the Vietnam war in case the Vietcong used frogmen. The training was done at Point Mugu. The article said that the project was dropped partly for fear of wild dolphins imitating and attacking any random scuba diver by ramming with their snouts, by extension of their habit of ramming sharks in self-defence or defence of young. > ...
